Q | Why should I use a broker?

A | We have your best interests at heart – it’s our obligation. A broker is your expert to guide you through the process of choosing, applying for, and settling on a home loan or investment loan - saving you time, frustration, and hits on your credit file.

At Chandler Finance, the bank pays for the services of your broker. The bank pays a commission to Chandler Finance once your loan settles.

We tailor the lending options to your unique situation, narrowing it down to top options to help you choose the most appropriate loan.

As your broker we negotiate with multiple banks on your behalf - we have over 30 on our lender panel - pitting them against each other to get you access to the best products and interest rates. In this way, we get better interest rates than you would receive if you go directly to the bank - often saving thousands per year.

Q | How long will it take to approval?

A | It varies, every borrower, loan, and lender is unique. Some lenders can provide conditional approval within 24 hours, others take much longer. As part of our recommendation, we will advise you on an approximate time frame to expect from each lender before you apply. We research suitability with multiple banks within a short amount of time, without affecting your credit file. If you need a solution fast, we can assist with this too.

Q | Is the process difficult and time consuming?

A | We aim to make the process as simple and stress-free for you as possible. Different lenders have different processes and requirements. Sometimes these requirements are very tedious. We advise on the level required of each lender, as a part of your lender decision.

OUR PROCESS

Formal Approval

We’ll work with your lender to satisfy any outstanding issues to ensure formal approval is issued in a timely manner.

Settlement

We’ll supervise your loan through settlement, liaising with any third parties involved to ensure settlement occurs and the transaction is closed off.

Annual Review

We’ll conduct an annual review to reassess your financial goals and ensure you are still getting a great deal on your current loan.

Initial Consultation

We’ll work with you—face-to-face, phone, email, SMS, or Zoom—to understand your goals and objectives.

Present Credit Advice

We’ll research available options from our panel of over 30 Australian lenders. Then, we’ll present you with a suitable finance structure, credit advice, and lending options.

Lodge Application

We’ll lodge the bank application along with supporting documents and follow up with the bank on the progress of settlement. A valuer will be in contact to value your property.
